Nurten Yuksel is an International artist who was born in Turkey and lives in Prague, Czech Republic since 2006. She is a visual artist and works with various media from sculpture, video performance, through drawings, photography to mixed media installations in her contemporary art context. Her artworks deals her own identity and with the identities of places and exploration of nature, environment and different cultures around the world. Nurten is infusing new experiences into her original content.

She received a MFA from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (Prague, CZ) and a BA from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty ( Istanbul,TR).

The artist has been in many International group and solo exhibitions in different countries. She won design awards in the competitions of paper design and textile design in Turkey. She had taught Art&Design for all levels in an International school in Prague since 2010 up to the present day.
